Can I book online?
Yes you can. Simply follow the online instructions and you can complete your booking. You will be asked to provide and upload your identification and asked to read and sign a monthly contract. You will receive email confirmation of your booking to the email address you supply upon booking.

Can I book by phone?
Yes, though it will take longer, and the lowest available prices are online.

What if I’ve booked and my plans are delayed or have changed?
That’s no problem, please contact the store by phone on 01495 311107 or email us at info@storspace.com and we can move your reservation date forward or back. Should you no longer need the unit please let us know and we will arrange to cancel your booking. There is no charge for either moving or cancelling your reservation.

How do I cancel my monthly subscription?
Either give us a call or log into your Storspace account and cancel it there.

What payment options are there?
You can pay using any major debit or credit card.

What do I have to pay when I make a booking?
You don’t have to pay anything to make a booking. On the day that you move in you will be charged the following:

£50 refundable security deposit
£30 for the high security padlock (you then own this)
The firsts month’s storage and insurance charges.

Then every month on the anniversary of your move in date you will be charged your monthly charges.

All our invoices are calculated on a calendar month basis.

Can I change my payment card?
Yes you can. Log into your Storspace account, click on ‘View Payment Details’ and add a new card. Or if you prefer just give us a call.

Do you offer discounts?
We at Storspace are proud to support our blue lights services and armed forces, therefore upon production of your service card we will give you 5% off our rental rates.
We also offer discounts for if you wish to prepay ahead. For 6 months we will give you a 5% discount of your rental rates. For 12 months or more we will give you a 10% discount of your rental rates.

What identification do I need to rent a unit?
You will need one form of identification and one proof of address.
Unfortunately, without the correct documents we wouldn’t be able to complete a storage contract for you and we wouldn’t be able to move you in.

Do you provide insurance cover?
We don’t provide insurance cover so you will need to ensure that you take out your own insurance, and it must cover goods being placed in self-storage. Please note that not all household insurances will cover you whilst your possessions are in a self-storage facility, please check the terms of your insurance and provide us with proof of your cover. This must state that it covers goods stored in a self-storage facility and name the store you are storing at and the full postal address of the premises. It is your responsibility to keep your insurance documentation valid and up to date.

How do I get through the electric gates?
Once you have booked you will be emailed a pin code for the electric gates. You will need to enter your pin code when you enter and when you exit.

How do I get into my unit if the main reception is open?
Go to the main reception and the manager will give you your keys.

How do I get into my unit if the main reception is closed?
You will need to arrange a time and date with our manager to collect your keys. Once you have these you can come and go as you please.

Is there anyone on site to help me unload or load my stuff?
While employees are on site during office opening hours, you should always plan to unload and pack your items yourself as our employees are not insured to handle your goods.

How often can I access my goods?
Our reception is open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5.00pm for you to be able to complete your paperwork, however once this is completed you will have 24-hour access, 365 days a year.

How close can I park to my unit?
You can drive right up to the door if you have rented an outdoor unit. If you have an indoor unit then you can park in the loading bays and move your belongings into the building using our range of trolleys.

Are there any steps to enter the facility?
Only if you have booked an indoor unit on the first floor. But don’t worry there are only 10 steps up to the first floor and there are trolleys you can use on both levels.

Can I add an additional named contact for access?
Yes you can add as many or as few people as you choose to have access to your unit. You can add or remove contacts at any time by letting us know in writing.

What happens if I lose my keys or forget my pin code?
Speak to the manager onsite or give us a call on 01495 311107 and we will be able to set you a new pin code and arrange a new padlock for you. Photo id would be required.

How quickly can I move in?
As long as we have the space available you can move in straight away if you book online.
If you are booking in the store then it would need to be no later than 1 hour before the store closes.

I want to move out and/or cancel future payments. What do I need to do?
The quickest way to move out is to log into your Storspace account online and cancel. If you require any assistance, call us on 01495 311107

Can i get a refund on payments if I move out mid-month?
You can move out at any time. However, payments are made monthly in advance and are non-refundable.

What kind of security is in place at Storspace?
Storspace takes pride in ensuring that your goods are safe and secure whilst they are stored with us. During our reception hours, the building is manned by a member of our team and outside of these hours is protected by a cctv monitoring company. Any movement that is detected onsite outside of office hours alerts the monitoring company and they take a look to see what’s happening and decide if action needs taking.

We have pin code access electric gates to enter the site. And a unique pin code is also required to get into the main building. This gives our customers an extra layer of protection. All our customers have their own pin code for the electric gates which is unique to them. This means that we know exactly who is onsite at any given time.

Alongside this our premises are fenced and razor wired as well as CCTV cameras that cover every inch of the premises. We also have a state of the art monitored fire alarm system.

Do you offer business storage?
Yes we offer a range of different unit sizes, we have the space to suit your storage needs. With flexible unit access we can help you to keep your business running smoothly. There are no long-term leases, no business rates to pay and no contract rates charged. You will receive a vat invoice every month.

The only business we cannot help is with storage of food products and businesses involving manufacturing on site. If you need business storage please speak to one of our team to discuss your needs.

Do you offer van hire?
Not at the moment but we can recommend van hire and removal companies in the local area

How do I get through the electric gates?

Go to the ‘padlock collection point’ which is located outside the reception.
You will need to enter the ‘padlock collection code’ which can be found in your booking confirmation email.

Why can’t I use my own padlock?
We insist on you using our padlock because we know that our padlocks are of the highest quality and have been designed to fit tightly inside the lock box which makes your unit extremely secure.

Padlock: You will require a padlock to secure your unit, we have these in store for you to purchase on the day.

Deposit: All customers must pay a £50 deposit when they move in. This is fully refundable when you vacate.
